PERIPHERAL VISION ON-LINE NOW!

Our Peripheral Vision allows us to see what's going on around us whilst we look straight ahead. It helps us negotiate through life by giving us a bigger, fuller view.
In the same way we can notice what is happening in the wider world and then be better equipped to make wise choices about how we live and what we wear each day.
The Peripheral Vision trans-seasonal collection mixes East African grown cotton with organic cotton jersey elements and hand-beaded detail whilst ensuring a living wage is paid to the tailors.

Between August & December 2010 One Colour customers helped raise over $250, which has been donated to KIDZCAN in Zimbabwe

Kids supported by KIDZCAN
KIDZCAN was created 15 years ago in order to meet the urgent needs of Zimbabwe’s only paediatric oncology unit at Parirenyatwa Hospital, Harare’s main government hospital.
Comprising a group of committed volunteers and consultants, KIDZCAN is determined to increase the quality of life of children suffering from cancer in Zimbabwe.
Relying solely on donations from supporters inside and outside Zimbabwe, KIDZCAN has grown as an organisation and now aims to:
-
Fund diagnostic testing
-
Source and distribute much of the critically needed oncology medications.
-
Provide supplementary feeding programmes for cancer patients such as Infant formula and nutritional cereals
-
Transport assistance for crucial follow-up appointments as the lack of public transport makes traveling from home to the hospital very difficult and patients have no transport of their own and very little money.
-
Support (Spiritual, Emotional or Physical) for the Parents of our cancer patients.
-
Palliative care drug.
-
Blankets, clothes and toys.
-
National awareness and sensitization campaigns to achieve early detection (more)
-
A trained volunteer program to provide art therapy and playtime for the children restricted to the hospital.
Parents' Support Group
Without KIDZCAN, many children in Zimbabwe would receive little or no essential medical treatment. To find out more visit

In 2011 One Colour will be partnering with an organisation in Kenya. More on this within the next month.
